What have we gained?

To decide one way or the other about a Brexit, we should consider what we had prior to the Common Market, now the European Union.

We had a coal-mining industry, a steel industry, a ship-building industry, farmers able to make a profit, a huge fishing fleet able to work within our territorial waters without having to share with other countries or have quotas imposed on them. We could control our borders. We traded with our Commonwealth without any restrictive legislation imposed upon us.

What benefits are there in this union?

We can travel anywhere within the union without hindrance. MEP’s are very well situated on a rich gravy-train.

What else? I am at a loss, but I’m quite sure that there will be some correspondence to advise otherwise.
