Week of mist and cloud ahead for Sunderland after sunshine weekend

Following a week where temperatures in Sunderland were hotter than the likes of Barcelona, March will kick off with a day of mist and cloud.
Mist is forecast from 8am to around 10am on Monday, March 1, with some sea fog expected along the coast.

Tuesday, March 2 also looks set to be a cloudy day with any fog along the coast lifting to cloud as the day goes on.
It’s due to be a cooler day on Tuesday too, with temperatures reaching 5C and dipping down to 3C overnight.
Wednesday, March 3 looks much the same, remaining overcast throughout the day with highs of just 5C, dropping to 4C overnight.

Hide AdThose looking to enjoy their daily exercise on Thursday, March 4 should prepare for rain as the Met Office is predicting light rain showers around lunchtime, with highs of just 6C.
It will be a dry day on Friday, March 5 but remaining overcast and cold with highs of just 6C.
Saturday, March 6 looks to be the pick of the week with sunny spells in the morning before turning cloudy in the afternoon.
But it will still be jacket weather despite the sun, as temperatures remain around 6C during the day before falling to 3C overnight.
