We need EU protection

This is the same UKIP that, according to published Parliamentary voting records, cast their vote in favour of: Cutting Tax credits to the working poor; retaining the ‘Bedroom Tax’; cutting benefit payments to the disabled; destroying trade union representation. Details that their representatives never mentioned while canvassing for votes in the local elections, or for “Brexit.”

UKIP is seen to support the Conservative Government in all issues apart from Europe, a fact that should be recognised by people tempted to listen to their propaganda.

We have all seen the extreme right of the Conservative party happily shaking hands with Farage and his cohorts, while campaigning for Brexit.

Can we imagine what the attitude of Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage will be to the Charter of Fundamental Rights if we Brexit.

The Charter enshrined in European law that protects: Trade union membership, minimum paid leave, rights for agency workers, paid maternity and paternity leave, equal pay, anti-discrimination laws and protection for workers when firms change hands.

All of these rights hated by right wing politicians of any persuasion, politicians that would love the possibility to attack them without European protection.

I feel confident that, come the referendum, voters of the UK will see through these Brexit carpetbaggers, and they will hopefully slip back under the stones from whence they came.
