Lamine Kone impressed on his Sunderland debut

Mind, we don't think he will be on Yaya Toure's Christmas card list after the hefty challenge on him in the second half.

The crunching tackle on the half-way line left Toure crumpled in a heap on the floor after he bounced off Kone.

The Man City ace was fine to carry on but it took him a while to get back to his feet, as the supporters in the Stadium of Light stands sung Kone's name.

Kone impressed with his no-nonsense approach on his full debut for the club following his £5million move from Lorient.
