Pop star Cheryl stole the show at the Cannes Film Festival as she posed on the red carpet.

The 32-year-old former X Factor judge had attracted comments over her slender appearance earlier this year after the breakdown of her marriage to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.

But she showed the difference having a new man in her life made with a new look which was designed to stun.

She has a new boyfriend, One Direction singer Liam Payne, 22, and they are believed to have travelled to Cannes together.

But she made a solo appearance yesterday as she took to the red carpet for the premiere of Slack Bay.
