Washington Glebe mark 60th anniversary with celebration match
Washington Glebe are celebrating their 60th anniversary this season.
The club still compete in all the Sunderland & District leagues, plus they dip into the Pelton Fell league, while club member Laurie Williams is currently the Sunderland & District senior vice president.
The highlight of their celebration happens next Saturday as they play a six-rink fixture against a combined Usworth & North Biddick team. There will be refreshments and a band onsite with spectators welcome.
