Tickets are now on sale for Fatfield Musical Stage Societies production of Cole Porters musical comedy, Anything Goes, which will be performed in St Robert of Newminster School, Biddick Lane, Washington, from Wednesday, February 17, to Saturday, February 20, at 7.15pm with a matinee on Saturday only at 2 15pm Tickets are priced at Â£8.50 for Wednesday only, then Â£10 Thursday to Saturday, obtainable from Carole on 0191 6595875 or Irene on 0191 4161607.

Tadpoles will be staging a Washington Arts Centre Theatre, Biddick Lane, Fatfield, on Saturday, February 13, at 11am and 2pm. The show is suitable for children aged from five years and is centred around a tadpole catching competition. It challenges a superhero duo to overcome rivalry and harness their strengths to work as team. Will they then be able to save the world together? An arts and craft fair will take place on Saturday, February 6, from 10am to 4pm at Washington Arts Centre, Fatfield. There will be extra crafts and activities to help celebrate Chinese New Year as well as a variety of stalls selling products created by local and regional artists and crafts people. Admission is free.
