District 1030 Rotary Clubs held their annual fundraising Sports Night at the Arnison Centre, Pity Me. This year it was nearly a full house. The sports evening was organised by Durham Bede Rotary Club helped by Rotarians from a few other clubs. Rotarians competed in push ha-penny, quoits, roll a penny, bowls. hole-in-one. magnetic darts and dominoes. The winners of the evening were Washington Forge. Washington Town Centre Library will be hosting a 3D Rainbow Spring card craft session on March 29 from 2.30pm to 3.30pm. There will also be a spring flowers and poppy tales sessions on March 31 from 2.15pm to 3.15pm.

Washington Millennium Centre will host a learn how to make Grufffalo Storysacks session from 2.30pm to 3.30pm on April 4.

Character art with Daniel Weatheritt will take place in Washington Town Centre Library on April 7 from 2.15pm to 3.15pm. There will also be a Ladybird session on April 5 from 2.15pm to 3,15pm.
