Walker finds his way back to the top

Baz Walker moved back to the top of the Golden Fleece Darts League with a superb 5-1 victory over Jaxon Douglass.

Walker’s best winning legs came in 17, 18, 20 and 21 darts.

Mick McBain draw with Kev Long, with both players’ best leg a 21-darter.

Marco Laybourn stunned Jordan Crouch with a 5-0 win, with Laybourn’s best legs coming in 20 and 21 darts.

Gary Richardson played out a draw with Lee Rump.

Richardson’s best legs were 20 (twice) and 21, including a great finish of 117. Rump enjoyed winning legs of 21 (twice), plus a finish of 104.

Darren Johnston beat Norman Place 5-3 and Denny Cullen defeated Andy Clark 5-2.

Glen Woodbridge continued his move up the table with a great 5-0 win over Pete Wilson.

Steve Carr beat Paul Moon 5-3 and Steve Richardson came from 4-2 down to earn a draw against Mick Seaman.

Norman Place made up for a earlier defeat by beating Owen Storey 5-2.

The last game of the night saw Denny Cullen draw with Jaxon Douglass.

Cullen’s best legs were 14, 18, 20 and 21, with Douglass enjoying a 21-dart leg.
