The Sunderland winger has impressed on loan at Rennes this season, scoring nine goals for the French side.

Sunderland are desperate to offload big-earner Khazri this summer, and the Tunisian star is unlikely to be short of offers after his successful spell in Ligue 1.

However, he says he is unsure of what the future holds as he prepares to join up with the Tunisia squad for the World Cup.

Rennes are keen to sign him on a permanent basis, but Khazri said: "I will not say that I will stay.

"If there are other offers, I have to study them.

"But it is true that I am not against staying at Rennes with this coach and this team, but I am open to anything."

Khazri says he is due to report back to Sunderland after the World Cup. The winger spent the whole of pre-season with the Black Cats last year and played the first five games of the season before joining Rennes on transfer deadline day.

The transfer window is shorter this term, but the 27-year-old said: "At the moment, I have not received anything so I will be back at my club."
