An announcement has been made today that pubs will extend their opening hours to celebrate the Queen's birthday later this year.

In April, the Queen will celebrate her 90th birthday, with a weekend of celebrations coming later in the year for her national birthday.

On June 10 and 11, David Cameron has announced today, pubs will be allowed to open for longer.
