Two taken to hospital after crash on B1280 at Haswell

Durham Constabulary said officers were called to the scene of a road traffic collision on the B1280 at Haswell on Wednesday, January 1.
Motorists using the road are asked to allow extra time for journeys while it is closed between Church View junction and the Blue House pub as police attend the incident.

Hide AdA spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 11.46am to reports of a one-vehicle road traffic collision outside the Blue House pub in Haswell.
“One patient has been taken to James Cook University Hospital’s emergency room and a second has been taken to the same hospital with pelvic and lower limb injuries.”
Durham Constabulary Facebook page said: “The road is now re-opened following a road traffic collision on B1280 at Haswell. Thank you for your patience.”
