Metro travellers are being urged to leave extra time for their journeys this morning.

The service Tweeted shortly after 7am today, Friday, November 4, that an earlier train fault was causing dleays between South Hylton and the Airport.

Services are running up to 15 minutes behind schedule.

Metro Sunderland
