TRAFFIC NEWS: Reported accident on the A1(M) near Washington

There are reports of an incident on the A1(M) near Washington which is causing potential delays for motorists.

A social media post from North East Traffic News said: “There has been an accident on the A1(M) southbound between the A692 and A167 turn offs near Washington and Birtley.”
