The majority of people across the UK have had to put holiday plans on hold as a result of the coronavirus lockdown.
But as restrictions ease, the tourism industry is starting up again with daily flights to several popular holiday destinations now operating from Newcastle Airport.
In addition, the Government has said that travellers arriving back in England from around 60 ‘lower risk’ countries and overseas territories will no longer have to quarantine for 14 days.
Here are the 10 cheapest countries to fly to directly from Newcastle this month (prices correct as of 11am on Friday, July 3 and may be subject to change):
