No Metros will run between South Hylton and Gateshead Stadium on Sunday, August 30 due to track renewal.

A replacement bus service 901 will call at all stations affected. Passengers are advised to check the timetable.

An express replacement bus service X901 runs between Park Lane and Gateshead, stopping only at Heworth in between.

Go North East’s 56 service runs between Sunderland Interchange and Newcastle, calling at Washington and Gateshead. Stagecoach’s X24 Sunderland-Newcastle service does not run on Sundays.
