A statement on its website said that bus operators were changing the frequency of some services from Saturday in response to reduced customer demand and available resources following the virus spread.

It added: “This will continue to be reviewed with ongoing advice from the government and public health bodies.”

Passengers can visit individual service website for further information about a specific service.

The county council has also lifted 9.30am restrictions on bus passes to provide free travel all day, every day for pass holders.
