Training company proud to back Best of Wearside Awards

JB Skills Training Ltd, one of Sunderland’s leading training providers, has given its support to the Student of the Year Award as it looks to honour hard-working individuals on Wearside.

The company, which is based at Sunderland Software Centre, provides apprenticeships and bespoke training packages to individuals of all ages and to companies looking to be the best they can be, by up skilling the existing work force.

Dave Macmillan, managing director of JB Skills Training, said the company is proud to be amongst the best in the training industry who are helping Wearside to be outstanding, which is why it has sponsored this year’s Best of Wearside Awards.

The Best of Wearside Awards 2016 are now well under way and we are looking for outstanding members of the community to be put forward for the honour.

Categories include Green Champion; Student of the Year; Fundraiser of the Year; Volunteer of the Year; Sporting Achievement; Community Group; Community Champion; Local Hero; Child of Achievement; and Child of Courage.

This year’s sponsors are Calsonic Kansei, Gentoo, Vantec, Station Taxis, Sunderland City Council Fostering and Adoption Service, JB Skills Training, TWR, and Sunderland Live, who will be sponsoring a range of categories.
