One person taken to hospital after two-vehicle crash in Cleadon
One person has been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Cleadon during morning rush hour.
The crash took place on B1299 Moor Lane near to the A1018 Sunderland Road at around 8.35am between a Renault Zoe and a Vauxhall Corsa.
The Renault driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Hide AdA Northumbria Police spokeswoman said: “Shortly after 8.35am today, police received a report of a collision on Moor Lane, Cleadon.
“It was reported that two cars had collided, a Renault Zoe and a Vauxhall Corsa.
“The Renault driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
“The cars have since been removed from the road and traffic is moving.”
