Metro trains cancelled due to fleet availability

The extra peak services between Pelaw and Regent Centre or Monkseaton are affected.

The core service Airport- South Hylton and St James - South Shields is running.

A Metro spokesman said: "Trains may be busier than normal. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused."
