Emergency services called to incident involving five vehicles in Sunderland street
Drivers faced delays in a Pallion street following reports of an incident involving five vehicles on New Year’s Eve.
A Northumbria Police spokeswoman confirmed the force was called at around 10.20am to Midmoor Road, Pallion, to reports of a collision involving four vehicles.
This was later updated to involve five vehicles.
The North East Ambulance Service confirmed that it was called to the scene and sent a rapid response paramedic, but was stood down by the police.
