Three correct England World Cup results on the trot for Psychic Sunderland Pig
It is three on the trot for Big Bob the Psychic Sunderland Pig after he accurately predicted the outcome of England's World Cup clash with Belgium.
After forecasting successive victories over Tunisia and Panama, the 11-year-old Maori pet pig reluctantly foretold Thursday night's defeat.
As our video shows, when he was asked to choose from three bowls of sow rolls - secretly labelled "win", "lose" or "draw" - he rushed away in the opposite direction before owner William Weightman coaxed him back to make his choice.
Mind, it could have been his words he was eating rather than his favourite dish if England striker Marcus Rashford - or should that be Rasher-ford - had converted a late opportunity when clean through on goal.
For now, however, the winning streak continues following Belgium's 1-0 win.
Big Bob, a popular attraction at Down at the Farm, near Houghton, was chosen for his new role because he is usually the first at the fun farm to sense when it is meal time.
We will be back before next Tuesday's last 16 clash with Colombia to find out whether he thinks the Three Lions will be roaring again.
There should be some interesting banter until then between him and his South American Alpaca pals.
*Down at the Farm, just off the A690, in Stoneygate Lane, near Houghton, is open 10pm-5pm at weekends and during school holidays. It is also available Tuesdays-Thursdays during term time for advance school bookings.
