The annual display, which took place along the town's coastline on Friday night, was hailed as the best one yet by event organisers, Seaham Town Council.
The popular event saw around 9,000 people come along to enjoy the free entertainment, which included fire dancers from Mint Management.

Deputy town clerk Paul Fletcher said he was delighted with the success of the event.
“It was amazing, definitely the best one I have ever seen," he said.
“It has been a really successful night and we have had a lot of positive feedback.
"The fire dancers from Mint Management were excellent and the special effects such as the flame machines on stage were also great.

"The display is quite a unique event with it taking place on the heritage coast and so we were delighted to see thousands of people come along to enjoy it.
"This year we had around 9,000 people turn out, which is a record.
"It just shows that Seaham is becoming more and more popular and more well known as a tourist destination."
Those gathered to watch it were similarly impressed by the display.
