Sunderland winger signs new deal

The Under-21 prospect has signed a new deal to remain with the Black Cats until 2018.

The 19-year-old has been with Sunderland since he was eight years old, joining in a full-time capacity in 2013.

Greenwood has impressed coaching staff, including Under-21 boss Andy Welsh, after progressing rapidly through the Academy ranks.

He has made 16 appearances for the table-topping Under-21 side so far this season.
