Sunderland writers Chris Young and Richard Mennear have chosen their sides below:

Chris Young's line-up:

Chris has opted to name an unchanged side from the goalless draw with West Bromwich Albion. The Black Cats peppered Ben Foster's goal with 22 attempts, seven of which were on target, but they couldn't find a way through despite dominating the play.

Mannone, Yedlin, Kaboul, Kone, Van Aanholt, Kirchhoff, M'Vila, Cattermole, Khazri, Borini, Defoe.

Richard Mennear's line-up:

Richard has opted to shake things up a little by bringing Jeremain Lens in from the cold. The Dutch winger was dropped from the squad against the Baggies and has a BIG point to prove.

With three points a must, Sunderland need to play more naturally gifted attacking players at home.

Unfortunately that means Cattermole (who impressed against West Brom) or M'Vila dropping to the bench.
