The Sunderland boss named the same XI for the seventh game in a row after deciding that his players were fresh enough following their efforts in Saturday's victory over Chelsea.

There was a change on the bench with fit-again Billy Jones taking the place of Jeremain Lens.

Everton boss Roberto Martinez made three changes, with Gareth Barry, Ramiro Funes Mori and Kevin Mirallas all recalled to the line-up.
