Sunderland have been linked with a host of Man United fringe players ever since David Moyes took charge at the Stadium of Light and the new Black Cats boss has confirmed that Januzaj and Marouane Fellaini both interest him.

However, Moyes doubts whether Sunderland would have the financial clout to sign Fellaini, while there have been reports that the Belgian midfielder wants to stay at Old Trafford anyway.

There would be plenty of interest in Januzaj and Italian giants Lazio are the latest to be credited with a move for the forward.

Benfica would want around £20million for Salvio though, which would immediately raise question marks, with Moyes thought to be operating on a limited budget.

And finally, Liam Bridcutt's move to Leeds United is edging closer.

Phil Hay, the Yorkshire Evening Post's chief football writer, is reporting that the deal is now "very close" and as advanced as it has been.

As previously reported by the Echo, Leeds have been in talks over re-signing Bridcutt for much of the summer after last season's loan spell at Elland Road.

Bridcutt's future is away from the Stadium of Light and he didn't travel to France for last week's three-game tour.
