He has continued to have his lack of height - the 23-year-old is 5ft 7in - questioned, and that talk has increased since his move to the Premier League.

However, Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe is one of a number of players who have proved size doesn't necessarily matter in English football's top flight.

The England international is just half an inch taller, while Black Cats legend Kevin Phillips is also just 5ft 7in - but that didn't stop him banging in the goals.

While it is true strikers are generally taller in the Premier League, there are a number of other current players who are even smaller than Musa, including:
