Sunderland set for biggest League One awayday yet after being handed bumper allocation
Over 7,500 Sunderland fans could be set to make the trip to Blackpool on New Year's Day.
The Black Cats travel to Bloomfield Road to face a side hovering just outside the play-off places.
Jack Ross's side look set to be backed by an enormous following.
Sunderland supporters quickly snapped up the initial allocation of 2,885 tickets that went on sale last month.
The club have now been handed a further allocation of 4,874 tickets.
Should they sell out then it will be the biggest away following of a remarkable season so far.
Around 5,000 fans made the trip to the Ricoh Arena in September.
The extra Blackpool tickets will go on sale to season card holders with 0 points tomorrow, before going on general sale the following day.
Initial tickets were priced at £22 for adults, £18 for over-60s and £10 for under-18s, while under-11s were allowed to go free with a full-paying adult or over-60.
