Sunderland schoolgirl Isobelle chops off 10 inches of hair for The Little Princess Trust
Seven-year-old Isobelle Green, from Ravenscourt Road, Sunderland, decided to cut off her long locks for The Little Princess Trust after being inspired by a YouTube video.
Mum Andrea Green, 34, said it was her daughter’s own idea as she wanted help other youngsters who had lost their hair whilst undergoing cancer treatment.

“We always try to copy off styles off YouTube and the internet and lately we have been copying off this girl who has just donated her hair to The Little Princess Trust.
“Isobelle wanted to know why they wanted to have the hair and she was like, ‘surely they just put it in the bin,’ but when I explained what the Trust uses the hair for, she was like ‘I’m doing it.’”
The Northern Saints Primary pupil had her hair cut to her shoulders at Platinum Hair Design, in Redmond Road.

“Normally I have to convince her I am just taking half and inch off her hair, so it really surprised me when she said she wanted to do it.
“It is amazing for her to want to do it considering how old she is.”
