Sunderland’s RNLI volunteers helped a boat back to safety after a broken mayday message was heard.
The charity’s team was paged just before 10.10am today, Thursday, August 6, after the call for help was reported when those on board faced difficulties.
A photo shared by Sunderland RNLI as its volunteers helped the boat back into the marina at Roker.
“The vessel and its crew were safely returned to Sunderland Marina.”
