Trevor, who lives in Millfield, is no stranger to American awards ceremonies. In recent years, he’s won gongs at the Hollywood Music In Media Awards in 2011 and 2013, the Artists In Music Awards in 2012 and 2013 and Indie Music Channel Awards (Hollywood) in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

He said: “I am very excited to be going to my first Grammy Awards ceremony. I was honoured to be accepted into the Producers Wing of The Grammys in 2014 but this will be my first ever visit to the actual awards.”

As part of the lead up to the ceremony, Trevor will be performing at The Soiree, a major pre-Grammy event staged at the legendary Whisky a Go Go on Sunset Boulevard.

He’ll be sharing the bill with five of this year’s Grammy nominees, including Rocky Dawuni, Peter Kater and Nadia Shpechenko, and will be interviewed on the red carpet as a part of the extensive media coverage.

Trevor will also be using the trip for the American launch of his new album, Hollow, at the prestigious Kulaks Woodshed in North Hollywood which will be filmed and recorded for a possible live UK/US DVD release.

Along with The Trevor Sewell Band, he’ll also be hitting the road to promote the record with a slot on the Late Night with Monica TV show already booked.

Hollow was a transatlantic project recorded in various locations across the United States and UK including Hollywood’s legendary Capitol Records Studio, which has hosted some of the biggest recording artists in history, from Frank Sinatra to the Beastie Boys.

The self-penned and produced record features prominent musicians from both sides of the Atlantic and is Trevor’s fourth studio release.
