Sunderland Harrier Rankin ends long wait for victory
Sunderland Harrier Steve Rankin enjoyed his first win since last September in the Love 2 Run Newcastle 10k at Newcastle's Town Moor yesterday.
He passed halfway in 17.05 and ended with a time of 34min 16sec – well outside his best of 33.09.
He is now back in full training after a short break to prepare for the Northern 12-stage Road Relay Championships at Silksworth on Saturday, April 2.
