Sunderland firefighters rescue dog stuck behind wall cavity
A fire crew were called out to rescue a dog which got stuck behind a wall cavity.
It happened in St Alban's Street, in Hendon, shortly before 2pm today.
The Cross Alsation breed pooch had fallen into the gap and couldn't get out.

Hide AdActing watch manager Andy Smith, of Sunderland Central fire station, said: "The dog had fallen from a loft area and got itself trapped.
"We put a strap around the dog and lifted it out.
"It wasn't hurt but seemed to be a bit frightened."
