Sunderland Civic Centre evacuated today
Staff were evacuated from Sunderland Civic Centre today.
The workers inside the building were told to leave after the fire alarm was activated shortly before 1pm.
An onlooker said they could not see any signs of a fire and they were allowed back in about ten minutes later.
