Sunderland city centre alert after concern for 'young female' and suspicious vehicle
Police were called to Sunderland city centre after reports expressing concern for a "young female."
But Northumbria Police has said no offences had been committed after investigating the incident, which happened at around 6pm on Friday.
The force received reports of concern for the woman and a suspicious vehicle.
A spokeswoman for the force said officers established "all parties involved are known to each other" and that no crimes had been committed.
