Poland striker Lukasz Teodorczyk is wanted by a host of European clubs - with Sunderland among those set to scout the prolific frontman.

Reports in Belgium say the Black Cats will be among the delegate of scouts watching Teodorczyk in action for Anderlecht against FSV Mainz tonight in the Europa League.

On loan from Dynamo Kiev, Teodorczyk has been in superb form for the Belgian side this season scoring 13 goals in 18 appearances - including scoring in his last five matches.

The 25-year-old is wanted by a host of European clubs.

According to reports in Belgium, Leipzig, Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, Atalanta, AC Milan and Aston Villa, West Brom and West Ham are also keeping tabs on him.

Meanwhile, Sunderland could be set to turn to Domagoj Vida to solve their defensive problems.

The Dynamo Kiev centre-half has been tracked by the Black Cats before as previously reported by the Echo.

And Sunderland had a representative at the Ukraine club’s 1-0 defeat at Benfica in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

The centre of defence will be a key area for boss David Moyes in the next transfer window.
