The Telegraph & Argus report Bradford are feeling under no pressure to sell Wyke this summer.

Simon Parker, in the Telegraph & Argus, writes: "But with just 10 days to go to the season opener – and a fortnight until the deadline for permanent transfers – it appears that City’s stance remains quite relaxed.

"With little time to play with, they would not be willing to do business unless a potential successor is lined up. Finding someone who could fit the bill is an ongoing and difficult process."

Ross is determined to add at least two attackers to his squad before the transfer window shuts in a fortnight’s time.

21-year-old Sinclair can play in the wide areas but is seen primarily as a player who can add pace to Sunderland’s front line.

Billy Sharp is another target, should he be sidelined by Chris Wilder’s desire to bolster his Sheffield United attack.

However, Ross and his recruitment team have also explored the loan market with numerous additions necessary.

Meanwhile, Sunderland have been credited with an interest in Brighton & Hove Albion striker Sam Baldock.

The Northern Echo claim there is strong interest in Baldock from Sunderland, the striker said to be on Ross' summer radar with the Black Cats willing to pay £1million for his services.

Reading are also interested in the 29-year-old, who joined Brighton in the summer of 2014 but it remains to be seen whether he could be tempted to Wearside with Reading able to offer
