As reported last week, Sunderland are thought to be weighing up a move alongside AC Milan, Inter Milan, Napoli and Granada.

Barcelona want £11million for the defender but fresh reports in Spain over the weekend say he will be allowed to leave on loan in January.

The 27-year-old has been at the Spanish giants for more than a year after a £13million move from Seville in the summer of 2015 but has fallen out of favour.

Entry to the game is free for SAFC season card holders on production of their valid 2016-17 season card.

Entry for non-season card holders is priced at £3 for adults and £1 for over 65s and under 16s, available via cash sales on the day of the game. Turnstiles 1-8 and 17-24 will open from 6pm.
