Such great kindness

On Saturday, February 20, after doing some shopping I went for the bus, and on trying to get on the bus I hit my shin bone on the entrance and fell over onto the bus. (This was in Holmeside).

Two lovely ladies and the bus driver came and helped me up.

The bus driver said my leg was bleeding and I couldn’t get on.

He rang for an ambulance because there was a lot of blood coming from my leg.

The two ladies helped me and one lady got me a chair from a shop and one lady gave me her husband’s jacket as I was shivering and they wouldn’t leave me.

The ambulance came and they were very professional and kind, as were the hospital staff and the bus driver.

I can’t thank them enough (sorry I had no names) but especially the two ladies.

I will always remember them for their care.
