Springwell - Down Your Way

A Stay & Play session takes place every Monday from 12.30pm to 2.30pm in St Mary and St Peter's Project. This play session is for families with young pre-school children and it is run by Amber, from Make'm Bounce. Children will enjoy the use of inflatable slide, ball pool, runarounds, and much more to keep them entertained. Sessions cost £3 per child, £1.50 per sibling, 50p for carers and non-walkers. Come along and join in.

The toddler group meets every Wednesday from 9.30am to 11am (term-time only) in the project. There is a wide variety of toys, activities and crafts to keep them entertained. Children also receive toast and juice. Sessions cost £1.50. All are welcome. Just go along and join in.

NU YU Holistic Therapies can be found within St Mary and St Peter’s Community Project. It was established by Sharon Charlton in March last year. Sharon is a qualified holistic practitioner and Reiki master and is passionate about holistic and alternative therapies. There is a range of treatments including Usui Reiki, Karuna Reiki, Crystal Reiki, massage, hot stone massage, Indian head massage and facial treatments. Inquiries for Baptism are welcome at St Mary and St Peter’s Church after the 6pm Eucharist on a Tuesday and the 9.30am Thursday Eucharist.

A Eucharist is held each Sunday at 9.30am at St Mary and St Peter’s Church with Sunday school held at the same time. Refreshments are served after the service. Everyone is welcome to join in.

The next meeting of St Mary and St Peter’s PCC will be on February 9 at 7pm.

Humbledon Methodist Church hosts a number of activities each week including: Sunday morning, worship at 10.45am; Monday, Brownies at 6.30pm; Tuesday, Weight Watchers from 6pm; Wednesday, Open Door from 10.30am to 1pm, coffee and light lunches served; Thursday, Slimming World from 6.30pm.
