Family craft session will be held on Wednesday, March 30, and Wednesday, April 6, from 10am-11.30am in St Mary and St Peter's Project, Enjoy a variety of activities including making Easter cakes . Cost is £1.50 per child who must be accompanied by an adult. Contact Sarah for more information .

The services for Holy week at St Mary and St Peter’s Church are as follows: Tonight at 7pm Eucharist and Address; Maundy Thursday at 7pm Eucharist with washing of feet and watch until midnight; Good Friday, 2pm, Liturgy of the day; Holy Saturday, 8pm, Easter Vigil; Easter Sunday Eucharist at 9.30am followed by family fun and paste egg competition. All are welcome.

Humbledon Methodist Church host a number of activities including: During Holy week: Maunday Thursday service with communion at 6pm and Good Friday service at 11.15am. Both to be conducted by the Rev David Richardson. Easter Saturday there will be an Easter tea with bonnett and competition at 3pm. Tickets are £5. Easter Sunday worship at 10.45am followed by communion. Normal weekly activities are: Sunday worship at 10.45am; Monday Brownies at 6.30pm; Tuesday Weight Watchers at 6pm; Wednesday open door from 10.30am-1pm, coffee and light lunches served; Thursday: Slimming World at 6.30pm.

Jim, co-ordinator at Thornbury Care Centre, is doing a sponsored walk from the centre to the Tommy statue in Seaham on Saturday, April 16, at 10m, This is Jim’s third annual sponsored walk.
