Moyra’s Green Run will take place on March 19 in aid of two charity fundraising events. Firstly, a Guinness World Record attempt will be made to create the world’s largest human shamrock followed by a 2.5km or 5km fun run across the beach between Tynemouth and Cullercoates. We would love the good people of Sunderland to help us. It’s £3.50 to take part and all proceeds will go to Cystic fibrosis Trust and St Oswald’s Hospice. Register your details and sign up at www.moyrasgreenrun.com. Everyone is welcome – bring your friends and family.
