Soutwick Forum runs a Woman's Hour for ladies thinking about becoming more health conscious. You can try healthy eating, boxercise and some complimentary therapies as well as learn how to relieve stress. To find out more, contact Jackie on 0191 561 8272. Boxercise is held every Tuesday from 12.30pm to 1.15pm and there will be an aromatherapy session on Friday at 10.15am.

Bunny Hill Library has a host of activities lined up over the school summer holiday including: Tuesday, July 26, make a cup crocodile; August 2 draw and colour a sun catcher; August 9 tasty treats with Canny Kitchen; August 16 Jar of Dreams; August 23 marvellous beasts with Zoolab (booking is essential); August 30 hat attack. The Salvation Army is looking for donations of food to help keep up with the demand for food parcels in the city. If you have any food (non-perishable) for example cereal, pasta, tinned meat, tuna, potatoes, please drop it into The Salvation Army, Austin house, 22 Shakespeare Street. Donations would be greatly appreciated.
