Members of the Red House Community Centre RAOB - GLE, Pride of the Wear and members of Bear Park George Cunningham Lodges presented a cheque to Nathan Brady, the grandson of Bro Tut Ward ROH HM. The money was raised by Dave Henderson, who completed the Coast & Castle cycle challenge from Berwick-Upon-Tweed to Roker in Sunderland (117 miles) on the first weekend of July. Donations from family, friends, colleagues and the RAOB have been amazing and to date £4,031.50 has been raised for Kidney Research UK, Prostrate Cancer and Nathan’s expenses while representing Great Britain in Gymnastics in China. As Nathan is about to go to University it was agreed to award him £1,350. Nathan and his family would like to thank everyone for their support and generosity, the team only came second to China in the competition by a few points.
