South Hylton - Down Your Way

It's full steam ahead for the Friday Gang, which meets in South Hylton Independent Methodist Church. This is a weekly activity for children of primary school age. It starts at 5.30pm and lasts for one hour. Members enjoy taking part in games and craft activities as well as listening to music and watching DVDs. Entrance to the school room is through the red door at the back of the church. Look forward to seeing you there.

There is a special family service on the first Sunday of each month starting at 10.30am. Sunday School takes place every week in the church at 10.30am. Children join with everyone else to begin with, then leave for their own special activities in the hall, which includes stories, worship, crafts, music and more.

Midweek activities in the IM Church have all started up again after the festive break. The women’s weekly meeting is on every Monday afternoon and starts at 2pm and lasts about an hour. Tuesdays from 9.30am to 10.30am there is a bible study, which takes place every two weeks. The next one will be today. Guides meet on Thursday evenings. All these activities are in the school room and the entrance is at the back of church. Tuesdays there is a Fellowship meeting, fortnightly starting at 7.15pm. Alternate weeks starting at 7.15pm there is a Bible Study. These meetings are held at 10, Laburnum Close. Tonight is the Fellowship. You are welcome to go along,

There is to be a Pact meeting in the Tansy Centre on February 11 from 6pm to 7pm. If you have any issues you would like to discuss, or, any complaints that need airing this is your opportunity to have your say.

The Tansy Centre annual meeting will take place on Wednesday, February 24, at 1pm. Please go along and give your support.

Hylton WI will meet in the Tansy Cents on Monday, February 8, starting at 7pm. The guest speaker this month is Ingrid Kilner with Behind the Veil. Ladies, you are welcome to go along as a visitor, you will be made very welcome.
