The service on Remembrance Sunday was very well attended. Uniformed organisations and representatives from various sections in the village were led by the Salvation Army band, from the Tansy Centre to the cenotaph. Many poppy wreaths were laid in a moving service in which everyone attending remembered the fallen in the two world wars and the more recent conflicts.
