South Hylton - Down Your Way

South Hylton Independent Methodist Church held a successful coffee morning last week and raised approximately Â£140 for Overseas Missions. Thanks go out to everyone who helped in anyway and to those who came along and gave their support.

Hylton WI will hold its December meeting on Monday starting at 1pm. The Wi now meet in the workingmen’s club and are always pleased to welcome visitors. The WI County Choir will be there to entertain, with seasonal music at this special Christmas meeting.

On Friday, children from the village school will be going to South Hylton Independent Methodist Church at 10am for their Advent Service, and on Friday, December 16, at 10am, there will be an Early Years Carol Service. On December 13 and 15, church members will be going along to the care homes in the village to join the residents and staff to sing Christmas carols. On Sunday, December 18, the IM church will hold its Carol Service at 6pm. At 10.30am on Christmas Day there will be Christmas Praise. Go along to these special Christmas services, you will be made very welcome.
