Singer Kelis to perform at Rainton Meadows Arena for Bongo's Bingo night
The singer, who rose to fame with hits such as Milkshake, Millionaire and Trick Me, will perform on May 24 as part of the hugely-successful Bongo’s Bingo club night.
A spin off from the Bongo’s Bingo event in Newcastle the night, which sees the traditional game turned on its head, is a one-off special set to cater for the huge demand for tickets to the show.

Hide AdMore used to playing at festivals like Glastonbury, Kelis, who has released six albums, won Brit, Q, and NME Awards, and been nominated for two Grammy Awards, is set to be the biggest performer ever to perform on the stage in Rainton.
Since it was brought to the region three years ago, Bongo’s Bingo has earned a cult following. Part game, part rave, the participants in the interactive show have the chance to win prizes such as Henry Hoovers, boxes of Coco Pops, mobility scooters, life-size cardboard cut-outs and lots of cold hard cash.
Unlike the traditional night at the bingo, it features dance-offs, heckling and sing-a-longs.
