Family members, and friends congregated at Silksworth IM Church last week to celebrate the life of Pearson Oliver, who died aged 87. He and his wife June have been devoted members of the church all their married life. Pearson was a joiner and a much respected employee at Vaux/Swallow Hotels. Pearson used his skills and talents, along with his late brother Roland to help build the new IM church which was officially opened in 1982. Pearson will be sadly missed by so many people.
